With the tagline: Websites for Writers, Communities for Readers, Writerspace is an expansive site for everyone who loves fiction, particularly romance and mysteries!
Writerspace was founded in 1998 and is now home to over 550 authors. Readers are encouraged “to gather, talk to each other, learn about releases and communicate with authors. The authors featured are well-known in the romance and mystery genres.
The site offers reviews, readers’ lists, and links to author websites. It’s certainly a handy resource for learning more about some of your favorite authors and discovering new ones. Some of the featured authors include: Catherine Anderson, Stella Cameron, Christina Dodd, Sabrina Jeffries, Jayne Ann Krentz, Elizabeth Lowell, Cheyenne McCray, Linda Lael Miller, Susan Elizabeth Phillips, and Diana Palmer. These ladies are perhaps best known in the romance world, but some of their novels do cross genres.
The site informs readers about new releases, upcoming chats with authors, reviews, and contests. There’s a recent post about upcoming mystery titles from Berkley/Signet Mysteries. Authors might be interested in some of the promotional services Writerspace offers, for a fee. And there’s a page with games!
