Here’s a new blog to keep tabs on, Murder is Everywhere.
Begun in November 2009, Murder is Everywhere features the voices of seven mystery authors from around the globe. They include Cara Black (the Aimee Leduc Investigation series set in France); Lisa Brackman (with novels set in Mexico and China); Leighton Gage (following the investigations of Chief Inspector Mario Silva in Brazil); Caro Ramsay (Glasgow, Scotland is the stomping grounds of Detective Cheif Inspector Alan McAlpine); Jeff Siger (Police Chief Andreas Kaldis investigates murders set in Greece); Yrsa Sigurðardóttir (featuring lawyer Thóra Gudmundsdóttir in Iceland); and Michael Sears and Stanley Trollip, who join forces to write as Michael Stanley (Detective Kubu solves complex cases in South Africa).
Each author reveals insights into their corners of the world and into their creative minds. The addition of photos to most posts gives the blog an almost travelogue feel, allowing mystery fans everywhere the opportunity to see the places they read about in these authors’ works.
