The Poisoned Martini – IV

Leap Day brings Part IV of the serialized original eStory written by yours truly exclusively for this website.  Future installments won’t be as long in appearing.  Although when’s the next Blue Moon…?

Set in Syracuse, New York, in 1987, in The Poisoned Martini, Rick Gray is about to get a rude awakening.  He’d met an intriguing and pretty co-ed who invited him to a party at her sorority.  Now this Sorority Soirée, a night to celebrate recent graduates, will be marred by and remembered for the murder that occurs…

Trish, who’d nearly held her breath awaiting his response, grinned.  Success!  This would be far better than if she’d shown up with Kevin or James.  She didn’t think Rick was known to her sorority crowd, and they’d be all the more intrigued by him…and his looks.  Now all she had to do was keep him from backing out…
