This month’s writing challenge offers up a curious scene.
To spark your creativity, The Poisoned Martini features monthly images to get you started. Such images, because of their visual nature, vividly speak to writers and spark ideas for writing. The idea is to view the images below and to write a scene, a short story, a chapter, a novella, or maybe even a novel.
Last month featured two images, both were presentations of a culinary nature. The first image (on the left) was the initial table setting for a vodka tasting while the second image showed a dessert plating of blinis, layered cake, and sorbet. View the images here.
This month’s image just might be the most mysterious one yet. Might the circumstances of the story be happening inside or out? What secrets might be hidden amongst the ivy?
