If you’ve ever tried Amaretto and Cream, kick it up a notch and try a Godchild!
Typically one might just order amaretto and cream, which is a great combination, but a Godchild is served a particular way.
What you’ll need: amaretto, vodka, and cream (or half and half)
Pour two ounces of amaretto, 1 ounce vodka, and 3 ounces of cream in a shaker over cracked ice. Shake and strain into a champagne glass. Optionally, you could serve it with a single maraschino cherry to make it more decadent. If you’d rather skip the vodka (really?), replace the vodka with an extra ounce or 1/2 of cream and serve.
How I like: Just like above. By the way, this is not a drink for dieters. For cream, I used International Delight’s Vanilla, but you could use their amaretto or hazelnut or any other flavor you like.
Just be sure to drink responsibly!
